My 2017 CoastalPro has major corrosion problems. It has just 14 hrs at sea in my estuary. Craft is stored indoors.
Biggest problem: thrust engine carb throttle spindle (metal) corroded such that throttle wouldn’t open, while at sea. Idled my way home, very nervously! Choke spindle is plastic: no problem. No amount of my washing the craft after use would have impacted this serious problem. Replaced B&S carb, but it will happen again. Any suggestions?
Extensive electrical corrosion (all cable connections to engines, for instance. Working my way through this.
